Here we go, PFNA

Email from Steve early this morning - “additional steps” this week to become a more agile organization. Asking HQ chicago and Dallas employees to work from home 🤞🏻

Do we know if payroll admins (FLNA) will be part of this lay off?

Someone needs to post this on TikTok. Especially the parts about Execs 34% increase in 3 years. They are funding his increase with your jobs. Time to show companies Layoffs = Stock price dumping. Short Pepsico into oblivion.

Move been through a lot of layoffs in the past from another industry that’s really cyclical. I feel pretty confident that I’ll get laid off this time. Which will be a 1st for me.

What I can say about it is that most the time, I’ve seen people go on and flourish post layoff.

I’ve been continually disappointed in PepsiCo as a company and while a layoff would be an unwelcome jolt, it’s probably the jolt I needed to escape this place.

This is the 4th fortune 50 company I’ve worked at and it’s not the worst company I’ve worked for but it’s close. Beneath the veneer it’s a very taxing place to work.

So if it comes to pass for you, take heart in knowing that the grass is probably greener and you’ll probably be extremely glad it happened in due time. I can pretty certainly tell you that there are much better jobs for you out there.

Would love to see executive comp go DOWN so we stop rewarding and giving executives all 4s and 5s and giving them massive increases every year even if the business is doing bad. If we lose market share why does Steven Williams get a huge increase while others get a messily 3-4.5 percent (not even keeping with inflation). I’m so sick of the lack of accountability at the top and the lack of transparency concern for the company’s employees. The people at the top are and have been making the decisions that are sc--wing us now and for the future as people eat less junk/trash food. We’ve seen nothing come out that is remotely healthy or sustainable and we keep pumping up that agenda as greenwashing and say we are cutting our footprint by not allowing teams to travel and interact in person and enjoy the perks of working at a large corp. HQ HR needs to wake up - we wonder why turnover is so bad and to me the answer is pretty clear. Leadership quality matters and listening to employees matters and it doesn’t exist anymore with Ramon and his team

To the person that commented about executive comp - didn’t see that but I’m not shocked. However - what really pi---s me off is the constant cost cutting pressure communicated by senior leadership to meet the goals of our finance function. Q3-Q4 this year and now Q1 Q2 is just a constant pressure. It’s always the same line, do more with less and people are going to reach their breaking point soon. This is not a tech company but we are cutting and reorganizing faster than a tech company with dinosaur age hardware and software. - yeah we know we need new laptops or laptop docking station or charger because it broke but IT won’t let us fix it without spending 12 hours on the phone troubleshooting before we send it in for a costly repair that is billed back to us despite protest. Where is the reciprocal pressure for finance to stop being a--holes to employees just so everyone can get their big fat bonus check and shareholder dividends at the end of the year? Either give hourly and L1-L11 employees shares of the company or expect that there will be another mass exodus as soon as the economy improves and labor market improves. Retention right now is definitely artificial - people will be happy to get their severance packages as it’s almost an expectation now

Probably going after the white males. Anyone on a pension. If you haven’t noticed, they only value college grads, females and people of color.

Has anyone heard the specific functions being impacted at PFNA? This is my first time experiencing this so wondering where the cuts will be. Quaker?

FLNA was once a great company; now with constant 'restructuring" ( lay offs) the people at the top get more money and the ' little people" get layed off. I've grown to hate this company. PFNA has become so greedy.

Did anybody else notice that Steven Williams total compensation has increased by 34% over the last three years? Has anyone else received such a generous increase in the same time?
His base is now $900,000 but total compensation is nearly $10,000,000.

Ramon’s base is $1.7mm and total comp of $34mm.

But don’t you order pizza for your team! We need to cut costs.
