I'm a sub chapter head in IT and the budget is just so very tight now days. Can barely afford the staff we have. I feel like IT doesn't have a dime to its name. Is there a cheap place I can find workers. I waited in the Beat Buy parking lot to see if there were any Day Developers there but couldn't find any. Any ideas?

Ask exec management to reduce their compensation...
If they can say "try switching it off then back on, that might solve your problem" hire them!
That's the main reason IT LT is looking at Manilla for future overseas resources. I'm guessing they are thinking that if you can work from home, then why can't that work be done by cheaper means.
Never mind the consultant that came up with the chapter concept how about the female leaders who bought into it and sold the whole mess to executive management.
Oh man, which consulting company came up with all this chapter/sub chapter baloney?
Maybe if you eliminate a few chapter and sub chapter heads form the org chart, the budget for good IT folks might not be so tight.
Home Depot would be the best opportunity to find workers for cheap. Some might know coding.
MW believes that he can run the company using ChatGPT. Soon he will be the only living employee on the company roster.
Could it be that you don't have the budget because you need to stop developing useless cr-p?
Spend some Man Time after work and you get get your dev work for free...
I here Gemini is cheap. Also Microsoft has something.
Hey Gemini write me a powershell script to disable access to the employees listed in the 1000employees.txt file for Office365, Salesforce, RingCentral and SAP. Also make a pst copy of their mailbox and store it in da cloud. Also send a UPS sticker in a laptop shipping return box to the employees in the file also. Send a mass email telling them to return your equipment and have a happy day.
Maybe try Home Depot. Could be some Day Developers there
