Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Nothing ever improves

I'm tired of things constantly getting worse and not a single thing improving at any time. Working here has become nearly unbearable with all the toxicity and bullying. Add to that rampant cronyism, insulting raises and bonuses, and constant fear of layoffs, and I really have to ask myself what the he-l am I still doing here.

People need to understand that being employed by Avaya is a blessing. This is not a joke, many people here have already figured this out. The demoralization will always be there as long as you’re with Avaya, but you can be grateful for the opportunity to be with this company.

There is a dancing evangelist who would love to be in your position .
It's a shame she was let go. At least she wanted to be an Avayan

Answer your own question - Why ARE you still at Avaya? (if you really are)

You work for a dying company in a dying industry. How else was this story going to end?

Rinse and repeat...Past Avaya Alliances that never blossomed.

Avaya/Ring Central
Avaya/ActionPoint
Avaya/Integrated Research
Avaya/Google
Avaya/Cognigy
Avaya/Salesforce......
to name a few

Common denominator is Avaya always needs the alliance partner, the alliance partner doesn't need Avaya.

Why would Avaya/Zoom be different?

Alan and company using words for their own monetary benefit, current employees are just stuck in a losing game.
