Managers are rude and unprofessional (which tells you a lot about who gets promoted, by the way) and they are quick to take credit for the work you did. Not that anybody above them cares. I have never worked for a company that showed as little respect to its employees as 3M.

From the rants on this post, it sounds like Mr. Gibbons will be needed by CEO Brown for at least 3 more years to clean up the cesspool atmosphere and cavalier attitudes towards workplace safety by overpaid minions.

Managers have a habit of promoting who they need so they can build up a wall of protection around them,, just ask MR, he was good at it
