Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Can't wait for the antitrust lawsuit to begin

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Explains why Schwab was so eager to get rid of the TD employees and to destroy any chances of having to rebuild the TD platform. Hope they get sued to oblivion by both clients and employees. Scamming clients and wrongful terminating TD employees.

Just need a few ex-TD employees to speak at trial on behalf of the plaintiff.

Just because they have a team of lawyers doesn't mean they will win. Just google a lot of lawsuits. Practically lost all of them or else settle. Of course it's all employment related and client suing for breach of fiduciary duty. This one will be interesting. Judge and jury appear to be anti-Schwab. Seems almost everyone is these days :)

With their legal issues, high costs of defense in court, employee layoffs/forced resignations, sh*tty management, I doubt any client in their right minds will want to do business with Schwab. Employee culture is like The Purge. Might as well shut down the business and turn off the lights. Save on the electric bill if nothing else.

If Karma is real, it will be aiming at Schwab in the worst way and no where else. Yes - they employ thousands just as they ruin thousands of lives and run off laughing to the bank with their bonuses. Whether they win or lose the case, they will be out a lot of $$$ from attorney fees. They still employ a lot of 3rd party attorneys who charge exorbitant amount of $.

Attorneys are not cheap. I'm sure they are using outside Attorneys to work on this. Hope Attorneys charge them arms. legs. eyes, etc. Even if they get some judge to buy into it. customers will see the fraud and put their money elsewhere

Antitrust:
Charge above competitors - price gauging
Charge in line with competitors - conspiracy
Charge lower than competitors - predatory pricing

Catch 22 Arbitrary rules that depend on what the judge is feeling. Schwab has the attorneys to fight it.
