Rto is going crazy in Atl
Heard the peeps at the top are going to make a decision this upcoming Friday for Atleos to WFO four days a week. If they all agree to bring everyone back, we can expect to hear something around the beginning of May
Regarding NEWS FLASH There should be NO EXCEPTIONS regardless of what state or country you're in especially for mgrs who need to learn how to lead by example. My mgr lives 1hr away from the closest office but thinks he rates an exception. To him I say the same he said to me. TAKE AN UBER
News flash, going back to office is happening across all companies. This is not just Atleos/Voyix.
Issue is a lot of people have enjoyed the freedom of working from home, saving $$ and enjoying much more family time. Going back to working pre pandemic su-ks.
NCR has always been known ways to fire and get rid of people in all possible ways. They can get rid of high pay and bring in again cheaper labour and start big ball of mess again. I believe even if your outlook says virtual your contract should also say virtual.
NCR wants hire more cheap labour out of India and Serbia this where everything will go in future.
Memo went out today for Atleos employees that four days a week in office will be required.
Poland and Dundee hub including managers Serbia and India the workers. Others, waiting in a queue to be next….
They must think we are id--ts. This is a THINLY veiled attempt at an alternate restructuring tactic vs expensive RIF’s. The goal of this exercise is to target the “quiet quitters”. Because what’s the market going to think if this sh*tshow company is doing layoffs every single quarter? That the only way ‘leadership’ can rightsize this sinking ship is to cut (salary) expense to make numbers look good. That and to not pay invoices. That’s an oldie but a goodie too.
They need to roll this out to locations abroad too specifically Europe. Employees are living the life of Riley. Supposedly working from home when the US is sleeping then gone by our lunchtime. I'm obviously not happy with this change.
I spoke to my manager and he said that yes. It applies to him also. He like 40 miles away from GHQ. Has no idea what his life will be like. Feels like he will be let go because of this change if he can't make it in
Per the CEO, “this is what the employees wanted from the company survey.”
Gasligthing at it's finest.
Im a virtual employee, does that mean i'm safe?
In workday if you have location as “virtual” and not “Atlanta HQ” it should not apply to you.
My manager is relatively high-level and was hired as a fully remote worker, he doesn’t even live near an HQ. He was (allegedly) told the policy WILL apply to him and he will be expected to WFO. How thats supposed to work, I have no clue. I believe it’s a ploy to get people to quit or be fired for noncompliance at this point.
WFO Does that include managers too ? Many of them managed to wiggle their way into the virtual worker status before, during or after covid. Leadership by example has never been a strongpoint for managers at NCR.
I believe it was said in all hands meeting 1500 at GHQ. Not sure that’s accurate.
There can’t be that many folks in ATL to return to midtown. PTC has a few, but what other buildings are there? I thought 7 WTC (New York city) was gone. Maybe something in Plano, TX?
Just another way to jerk everyones chain.
Does this mean back in the office 5 days a week ?
Work from office I presume
WFO?
- Save on taxes for the company.
- Get people to quit on their own and not pay severance.
- Voyix gets more money back to ship jobs overseas.

If you’re in the US and made it so far, then tread very carefully. This company is not looking out for you and these actions only confirm it.
Can someone please promote the CEO as soon as possible.
