Does anyone know if TIAA can resume hiring again soon? The word was in February was hiring freeze will be lifted in April, but have not heard anything recently.

honestly, waiting may not be the best option. the changes going on right now are chaotic and creating more tension. communication from executive leadership is not good with the current administration. secretive, deceptive, even levels below are not having direct conversations down the chain. only self promotion by the executive team is communicated. even on the internal website, all TIAA news is about the CEO's self promotion. i would look elsewhere if the need is immediate, though the issues at TIAA are really a not different than elsewhere.
The hiring freeze is still happening. There's a lot going on within this company. Layoffs, outsourcing, Town Hall meetings etc. In the meantime, all you can do just continue to wait.
There is a meeting happening in May...I think. Maybe something will be said during that time.
