Thread regarding US Foods layoffs

US Foods doesn't support American Workers

One third of SBS will be let go so US Foods can OFFSHORE jobs via Accenture to India, Mumbai.

At a time when American Workers depend on American Jobs they are being let go and replaced with offshored services to better line the share holders pockets.

Accenture just posted their worst earnings ever, and yet US Foods continues to not realize how terrible of an idea this is.

2025 and still yet more layoffs as US Foods slices its staff, props up Accentures India staff, while gutting its Americas jobs and piling on a too thin remaining staff. Those left are merely tools to prop the jobs up til they're laid off too. All too afraid to speak up, they suffer silently while being piled on, knowing they're next.

The sad part, other than investing in India's economy over American families, is that these companies don't even disclose to their customers that their personal information such as bank accounts and social security numbers are now accessible outside of the United States, where scams are high and there's little to no ability to prosecute. Even one of the largest credit bureaus has shifted jobs to India and Americans don't even know and aren't told where breaches come from, that their info is accessible outside of the country. No one is notified or given an opt out. These companies know American consumers and businesses would drop them, so they keep it quiet.

Employees have been skewered at US Foods and the bloat at the top is only out to enrich themselves, the board and the shareholder, something that could have been achieved while maintaining American jobs. Decades long employees kicked to the curb. Those kept, forced to train their replacements, knowing they're next.

USF has become a horrible place to work under Dave Flitman, Guy Babbitt, Marty Scaminucci, and all the rest of them that have cowardly saved themselves and turned on hundreds of loyal employees. They rejoice the Indian worker. One top level exec even cried on a call at the beauty of it all, while horrified employees looked on.

It's time for American companies to wake up and invest in the American worker again. They want the American consumer, they should be required to invest in the American worker.

Most will never achieve a millimeter of wealth that Flitman has achieved. They only want to work and provide for their families, which is not too much to ask. The top execs have no sight or heart for the people that have built this company and on whose backs it runs.
It's truly disgusting. No conscience for the lives it's ruined, unemployment it's caused, financial uncertainty. All to invest in Indias economy, while taking American consumers money to the bank. We don't want a global economy!! Only your Davos buddies do.
Get back to basics of caring about your neighborhood operators, your employees and their families.

Today US Foods announced MORE jobs being outsourced to India. Congress needs to pass a law to stop these corporations from taking jobs from American people so they can pay pennies to foreigners. Disgusting

I was one of the employees that lost their job after giving 10+ years to USF!!! Their slogan is “You Matter” well that needs to change asap because to them all that matters is $$! NOT the employees! It makes no sense to get rid of employees with so much knowledge and keeping high performance at top level of their day to day job! Just to let 100’s go and give our jobs to an overseas company that tanked in their numbers last year and has noooo experience in the credit world as USF runs it. It’s all for the stock to go up which I hope it does the opposite and ppl realize what is going on! Also right before the holidays!!!! American jobs should stay in America! USF is ruining families

On a scale of 1 to 10, my training at US Foods was a zero.
They are all about profit.
There was one Supervisor who was awesome.

We need Congress to pass legislation to tax US corporations who offshore jobs directly or indirectly, via managed service contracts with a 3rd parties, to pay for universal basic income for the number of workers they otherwise would have employed locally.
