Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Employee morale is at its lowest

Overworked ,underpaid and lied to by my manager. I feel sorry for our clients, employee morale is at lowest I personally have ever seen it, this includes layoffs during tech bubble/ 9/11 and 2008 recession. Rto is one thing, but the lies and smug Walt and ec and their trickle down poor mgmt style and ineffective communication now giving leftover directors and mgrs approval to do same. Lay us off ,but stop the morale bleeding. Don’t give us cr-ppy schwab paraphernalia for employee appreciation day. This is how the leaders lead, completely brain dead. We don’t want reminders of how badly we are being treated. Loved the 1000$ in useless options. Smh

Perfectly said, @gzw+1ruUVtSq.

Just let Schwab sink with the morale. Schwab does not care about you. Management will eventually find a way to get rid of you whether they fire you for something minor or lay you off later. These "leaders" led themselves to dry land and left their employees, customers and the operations on the Titanic. Just let those assets sink with you. It will be tragic but at least the ride will be fun. Schwab totally deserves it. Karma at work.

I sincerely wish my team was getting better. We were a high-performing team before favoritism and nepotism took over. Several people have left and need to be replaced, and others are seeking other opportunities. Everyone is questioning every comment they make and everything they do, and frankly, they no longer feel safe in their roles.

I know many will say just quit or find a new job. I am sincerely trying to find a new job but having a hard time. I wish it were that easy. I am only sticking around because I need the income. I wish I had been laid off; I could have focused full-time on escaping this mess.

Seeing how that positive post is being downvoted is how I know this site is a joke.

Disagree, my group is getting better, and sorry if you’ll downvote this but I’m glad. Stressed and depressed is no way to live.

That’s great. How is your group better?

See, when the organization is toxic, raises don’t keep with inflation, income disparity is increased, more staff are harassed in an effort to kick them out and tone deaf things like RTO are implemented system wide it is difficult to believe a claim that a group is getting better unless

  • it was so much worse to start with
  • the evaluator is deluded

There were people who denied Sandy Hook.it isn’t surprising to have someone troll or make a legitimate claim here that their group is better. But it holding up to scrutiny?
