Companies like Nielsen are easy pickings as they want so badly to still remain relevant that they’ll turn over all control and decision making to these hedge funds owners without any regard to their current workforce.

Best bet is to part ways with the process and let the ground beef making begin. You don’t have any say, and are just another liability in their plan.

Yeah, all the private equity companies follow the same playbook in outsourcing in order to make their host company look profitable and ready them for sale. 20% of US companies are now owned by them and the scale of layoffs seems to been more noticeable because of the increased percentage of ownership up from 4% in 2000. The practice should be outlawed and frankly it’s unoriginal and lazy.
