Hasn't life at Aramco, work and personal, been fully illuminated by the many posts?

This site isn't another echo chamber for bitter current and former employees to vent their anger over. There's a fountain of genuinely positive and negative experiences for possible new employees to preside over.
I read another recent post about someone wanting to care for their job and wanting to make a difference. They may have succeeded but to what personal toll it took on them because another stark reality will be other employees telling you, almost forcing you to not bother trying at all.
Change is a great force and should be embraced to bring about a forwards progression. However, key decisions are taken by the wrong people for the wrong mangers to pit into place. The company is fading fast.amd crumbling faster than its houses that kept together by hope.
Please could the last leaving the camp and company please turn off the lights - if they're still working.
Actually many are in KSA or Bahrain and using appropriate safeguards to protect identity. The information here is very accurate, I speak from someone with skin in the game. To survive in Aramco you need to be able to become a yes man and lose all sense of self worth.
The fact that Aramco goes to extreme lengths to hide honest opinions speaks volumes. Look at glassdoor to read the legions of shill posts. Indeed I have been asked to contribute by my management also! They can go and do one.
And by the way, aramcoexpats.com recently purged a load of users that were “too honest”.
This site is the best resource on what it’s really like at Aramco.

As a member of the class of 2020 you couldn't have summarized it better. I turned out to be type 2.
Like a fellow expat once said.: you have two buckets to fill; one with money, the other with manure. When one of those buckets fills up it's time to leave.
You would notice that the issues are pretty much the same. Low ball offer, no career advancement, lazy coworkers, pollution, cr-ppy accommodations, bureaucracy, tribalism, etc. There is a common theme and all are unfortunately true.
I saw two types of expats while I was there. The ones who just worked, kept their heads down and just banked as much as they can, and those who are ideological and principled.
The 1st type tunes out all the negativities, adapts and makes the best out of every situation, all that matters is grow their retirement fund. The 2nd type are the ones typically frustrated and depressed because they expected more in return .
Now, which type you think best suits your personality?
Those who are commenting (mostly negatively) are truly ex-Aramco expats in my opinion and also OOK because to post anything even remotely negative whilst IK on Aramco network at work or home where the internet surveillance is truly world class and on a par with China and other police states would be folly. TOR and other VPNs are truly outclassed IMO and give the illusion of privacy when IK....once current expats are OOK and in their home countries, oh how they also vent on this website...
You want to hear from real expats before you make your decision?
You sound like a fella that really needs to take the job then. You sound like one of the guys that comes out and realizes in the first week that they made a mistake, and there really isn't much they can do about it.
Don't pay attention to all of what you see as negative advice. Just go for it.
I need to hear from some real expats before I can make my final decision. If any are interested in speaking out, then please sound off.
What’s left to say? - well the new hires who get laid off in the periodic purges still will have plenty to say about the current ethics, morality and business practices. I doubt if it’s an improvement on that experienced by hires from 10 years ago, or for that matter those who were from 30 years ago in the golden era when expats were treated with much more respect and benefits and have nothing but fond memories because they were treated well and respectively. Different eras…
make a hasty exit - like the population of delft - after the napolenic era ended - while the getting is good . Turners classic painting from The period explains it well

Interesting...could it be something general, like the world is in chaos and will most likely worsen near term? And that when the s--t hits the fan no one there will have your back? Something to ponder anyway.
ASC and worldwide recruiters are fighting for survival, despite Saudinization goals, just was conducted the first forum in Dhahran, incentives should be good because most of them now are encouraging the Saudi Dream regardless new western hires will join a company that doesn't count with them at the end. Something more is happening because now more people is planning to leave.
