The biggest push for layoffs will be this final week of March.
Departments have delayed identifying employees to be laid off. The deadline is the end of March.
Be prepared for heavy layoffs over the next week.
Good luck to all.

" Check the total employee count under Mark under the org chart in mygainwell@work. Friday it was 14,395; today it's 14,316"
Oh c'mon. If we are to draw any conclusions from that we also need to know how many new hires during that period, how many people quit and how many people retired.
Looks like total employee count increased today to 14360. Is it a positive sign?
May be it is technical glitch in SAP system which has been forever unreliable. Only HR dept benefits out of SAP system.
Wow ~79 employees laid off silently! Looks like a beginning towards end…
Outsourcing 1000+ to India and another 1000+ to Philippines will be the next step as CEO shared at the very start of TownHall video.
folks - numbers don't lie. Check the total employee count under Mark under the org chart in mygainwell@work. Friday it was 14,395; today it's 14,316. Keep an eye on this throughout next few weeks.
The only reason there have not been as many layoffs as anticipated is because accounts are pushing back and India is not ready to take on the work.
Sure, sure...I've heard this every month for the past year on this site. If they wanted to have layoffs they would.

They will have to learn the hard way I guess. I worked in the .com world up in San Jose before it all went to sh-t. Same thinking about off-shoring everyone and getting cheaper labor. When they figured out that nobody could communication with each other let alone the clients the companies started to tank.
This company is a joke. It's all these loser HP/DXC lifers that can barely even function.
Better than Wearing diapers and fear-mongering others while being closer to retirement and death than other employees.
This site seems to be filled with people who just like to post about layoffs that they don’t even have any information about at all.
For example, this post. Tomorrow is end of month. There hasn’t been any layoffs. This has happened repeatedly. I hate this company and its leadership probably more than most people, but cut the lies and nonsense out. It does nobody any good and you don’t receive karma points.
Anyways, employee layoffs is set to minimum 12-15% after performance reviews (rating 1,2 or few of those rated 3)
it seems they are targeting those on contracts
I didn’t hear of any WFRs this week. Postponed I guess.
It's subtle, but I feel like the Indian workers get way more attention and help than I do. This is just what I notice. If I need help, I have to wait until after hours to get it. Because of this and other observations, I'm not feeling very valued at Gainwell.
Based on Townhall, if 1000s are being hired in Asia (India and Phillipines), equal number will be reduced here in US as there is no net new business after FL paused their DDI and lost contract in CA.
Hopes of MT or others are elusive. Except KY and DC there is no new big business insight.
Does Gainwell need current 14K+ employees inaddition to atleast 2000+ being hired offshore?
Do your math…
Anonymous said “It’s all about money.”
If this is a revelation to you, you have bigger problems than your employment at Gainwell :-)
For-profit business _is_ about money. The issue with Gainwell may be—I say “may” because I am not a current employee—that they do not know how to make money.
Whether their strategy of developing a global capability will work is a good debate. But it does not make sense to hate the company because it is trying to make money.
You can always work for the state DMV, which only hires US citizens and has not made money in its entire history.
“Don’t blame offshoring.”
WTF are you talking about? Offshoring is directly to blame for the layoffs in the US. Your job is being sent to India and other overseas countries. The leaders made that choice. To send your job offshore and then let you go. That shows zero value for the US employee. It’s all about money. And for the CEO and senior leaders to throw it in your face in the town hall is absolutely amazing.
This company is unethical and illegally operating. Selling something you have no intention to deliver is illegal, dishonest, and unethical.
Gainwell needs burned to the ground. They need to cease operations immediately.
The CEO is openly telling you he is sending your job to India while raking in cash. Why care about this company, again?
Don’t blame offshoring.
We want access to india markets and they want access to some of the jobs that produce the products.
I’m surprised they haven’t been demanding this before.
y'all just do the bare minimum at this point. It doesn't matter if you work hard or create innovative ideas. Remember, you are just a number
2 more offices in India will be set up soon. When they are set up heavy layoffs will happen again.
Folks if you work for Gainwell layoffs are how they do business. Get used to it. Accept the risk if you stay.
These layoffs are no where near complete.
Agree with previous post...offshoring was mentioned by CEO in the TownHall and he called out aggressive 1000+ hires in India as well as Phillipines during this year.
Watch out for your jobs and back-stab anyone including your boss!
Is there an end in sight? GWT was so promising that first year.
