Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Whistle-blowers!

I'm hearing from multiple sources that people who giving information to the FRA are being pulled from service. Isn't giving information about the shady things the railroads are doing that violates regulations protected under the Whistle-blower act? Isn't retaliation illegal? These employees should be able to sue, correct? I know there's documented cases of this exact thing happening before, and those employees won their lawsuits against the company.

I say report it and start the paper trail to build your whistle blower case. Make sure you report the violation to various government agencies like FRA, Surface Transportation Board, Better Business Bureau and OSHA’s Whistleblower Protection Program.

This companys law team knows how to drag lawsuits out for YEARS. There's thousands of disability act violation lawsuits that started from 2017. Very few have been settled. Keep in mind you do report to FRA and get pulled from service, it WILL be a long journey in legal world.
