Had over 7 years at Fidelity and was let go. Found it difficult adjusting at first. Especially missed the people I worked with. Eventually landed a role with a firm that actually treated me like an adult and valued my contributions and talent. Looking back, I was blind to the sheer amount of abuse, gaslighting and micromanaging I put up with. Been at this firm for over 5 years now. Wouldn’t go back to Fidelity for anything. There will be days when you'll feel low but things will get better and you'll discover that life outside of Fidelity is much better.

Horrible, I’m sorry that happened. Was it yesterday and which group were you in?

You’ll probably wind up in a better situation.
