Instead of a fixed amount they will change it to a percentage of your salary.

I was surprised it was a set amount when I joined Ford. Every other company I've worked for has had it as a percentage of salary.
How else can the Ford family pay themselves and Wall Street another special dividend in 2024 and continue in 2025?
If there was money for that, there was money for employee full bonses.
Something to consider, GM stock float is a little over 1 billion shares, Ford has almost 4 billion shares. Yet, Ford pays a 15 cent dividend and GM 12.
Priorities of the company remain kicking the can down the road. In the 80s we heard quality is Job Number 1. My entire life the company has suffered quality problems.
Of course they eould fo that, so they can keep cash flowing. Warning sign they are low in cash. Red flag on the field!
@xcp+1rFQoiQ7 You still pay taxes on this… if instead of a 10k bonus on 100k salary you get 10% of your salary it’s still the same amount of money lol. It’s not like they are saying ahh 10% so get him 10k cash right now
@ysj, finally someone makes a good and accurate point on here.
Changes to the AICP/bonus to a percentage of your salary are in effect for LL5+ starting with CY 2024
Next year's bonus target was listed on my compensation notice. The problem I saw was that it was the same as this year's. So basically, it will be smaller next year due to inflation.
Have not heard that, where did you find this info?
Ah yes. The old %.
You know what 100% of nothing is?
If that is the case, I'm fine with that. It was so deceiving to think we would get "X". Then it was depressing to end up with half because of the double percentages off and taxes.
