Thread regarding Imperial Oil Limited layoffs

Where is my cut

Imperial Oil share prices went through the roof in recent months. This is in part because of the sweat and tears that we have put in this company as employees.

So, should we not get a stake in the gains? Why should only the upper management be rewarded!

Hai! Hai!! I am also an IOL shareholder. I own 1 in every 100,000 IOL shares. When IOL makes $1B, I get $10K as my cut. Sweet deal.

Do what you need to give me my high returns; just don’t make it go bankrupt.

This is not the ussr nor is the country ruled by ndp. Stop being a lazy communist and do some work, rise through the ranks and get your cut of the stock price and profits. You aren’t that special and completely replaceable, remember that. The idea of the workers paradise and trade unions/ workers commune died with marx and ussr.

Your cut goes to fix the endless mistakes of the decision makers. The ones who waste millions with their arrogance and yet cut everything we deserve to ribbons.
