If the company is failing to win new work I’m surprised the Chief Growth Officer and the BD/Proposals department are still in tact. Actually, last year and into this year I know many tenured proposal professionals were laid off while others fled the sinking ship.

This is laughable.
Gainwell makes promises they can’t keep. Promises they have no intention of keeping. They do this to win business. Then they steal from the client. Take their money and fail to deliver. It’s unethical.
Sure they win here and there. But the losses are outpacing the wins because they can’t deliver. They don’t have a plan to deliver. They don’t intend to deliver.
It’s as unethical as it gets.
Yes, we are still winning, the problem is that we sell things and then try to figure out how to implement them on the backend after winning. Much like a dog chasing a car and then catching it and having no idea what to do.
Even though this site is geared towards layoff discussion, I have seen tons of new hires coming in and many of them are new roles not simply backfilling for folks who leave. Will they be impacted by WFR in the future it's possible but for anyone saying Gainwell isn't winning new business they are wrong. We have issues delivering but not winning.
