The new leadership hammered the last nail in the Cisco DC coffin. RiP NXOS and ACI.
Aci is in sustaining mode. Or whatever fancy acronym we want to give it. Read it is dead but we don’t announce it. No roadmap, no party.
Nxos seems to be standing strong and although it has its flaws and too many niche features only one customer cares about. Atleast it is something we sold in the last 10 plus years in contrast to the posterchild nxos which i’s be amazed we ever made a dime out of .
It's time to take the NXOS and ACI geriatric horses behind the barn and pull the trigger till it goes click. Kneel before Arista.
Nexus is at least 13 year old architecture, it is time to put it in sustaining mode.
