Most of the time I only hear negativity from co-workers, colleagues and headlines when mentioning 3M. It feels like there are always projects or reorgs that never truly help. Has anyone noticed any recent positive changes in their plants or work areas?

I am still dealing with having been bullied, harassed, belittled and abused by my manager. So, the answer is no.
One week of extra vacation plus 5% pay hike this year. Given the current situation, it's not too shabby!
We have gotten a lot of new equipment that will make jobs easier for production employees that’s a huge positive.
Nope - nothing positive
We had tamp-ns in our men's washrooms for a brief period, but that's gone now.
I am OP. Hate to say it, but thanks for validating it is not just me. I am not a longtime employee, but struggle to find anything that looks like positive signs, and unfortunately have been looking externally myself. Appreciate the honest feedback
At our site there is not one single thing that has gotten better.
I have been trying to find just one thing (no matter how small or insignificant) that has gotten better so that maybe I can believe the lies I try to tell myself about positive changes being on the horizon.
Our site is still managed by bullies and incompetent mo--ns. We now have multiple and competing consulting groups trying to run our operations. Our HR department continues to only support the bullies to keep from being targets themselves. Morale is the worst I have ever seen it and I am a long term employee.
I will continue to spend my free time looking for a new employer as should most everyone in this company. A damn shame ...

Except he is still Chairman of the Board. A board who let this disaster happen.
Positive is 3M RemainCo only way next is up.... it cannot go down anymore as share price hit rock bottom under Mikey
Let’s see, Zoe released the 2023 DEI report, sounds like we are doing great on that, far fewer whites at 3M. Mikey is still doing his Forward/WE thing?? Outsourcing continues to grow as innovation has halted. Major head count reductions are needed because we are to become lean and mean. We are positive that 3M has been woefully mismanaged.
Positive is that MR is finally stepping down from top post
