Johnnie B has been calling all the shots for months. I was told that last year in a meeting with his direct reports that JB said that in any other company SB should be reporting to him. He also stated that JCS and JEG would eventually report to him or else. My take is that JCS chose the or else.
SB has seemed unhappy and disconnected for months. JB makes JV look like a saint.
Also makes no sense that they spent all that money getting rid of Ichan. They are simply running the same play book that Ichan would have run. They will sell off everything that isn't sales and soon will have their sales people selling Avon to fund their fat severance plans.
