There is a rumour that Suncor may divest some of the higher OPEX SAGD assets. Petro-China is the likely suitor as it may offer some synergies. Anyone have experience working with Petro-China?

I did some consulting for PC. A terrible client. The only thing worse would have been an employee's. But then again, under Freddie, Suncor is no longer a Great Place To Work. WINNING!!
Not surprised. I was once at Petro Chinas office . Very nice, but atmosphere seem like awful unless you speak mandarin. Chinese companies have deep pockets and fed govt wouldn't object any asset purchases. Kruger is planning to do something
