A colleague of mine raised his hand for the voluntary VRIF and hasn't heard yet if he is getting it or not. He is in the US. So they are still working on it.
Agreed on watching for calls with your boss put on your calendar that you didnt expect, but often I have seen this more likely for mid week and not Friday. In the past they didnt like to do Fridays.

If you're an international company with folks in Europe, they will let majority go in USA after the summer vacation in Europe has ended. They need the folks in USA to cover for them (Europeans) while on vacation.

Senior mgt has NO idea! This is textbook 101 that you don't do what they have done. And it ain't even started yet. Especially for someone like me who has longevity and commitment to this company, my products, my boss, my many hard working and smart coworkers and our very valued customers (not clients-that's stupid!).
