Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

An honest question

How many layers of management do we really need? Because we could save some major $$ if we got rid of a level or two of completely unnecessary managers who contribute absolutely nothing to the company. Please, tell me if I'm wrong and if they're somehow essential to TIAA. I don't think I am, though.

Everyone knows K hired J to do her job. Teleprompter queen is right. They are all phoney as they come. Just sound bytes.

“ this is why I fight…” what is this bullsh-t that we preach. . What are we fighting??? We are an asset mgmt and record keeping company. Utter BS.

Look at Kourtney who replaced Doug. How many folks she has under her. Totally incompetent aka teleprompter queen.

I've worked in government organizations in the past with insane levels of bureaucracy. I never thought I'd be in a private organization that says "hold my beer" when it comes to useless layers of mgmt and oversight but TIAA takes the cake.

A director level or higher with zero reports should be everyone’s aspiration LOL. Yes the layers of useless management at this company are insane.
