How top management protects itself in APJ

Before the LR, one MD was moved to a VP role, one MD in non performing business (WebEx) was promoted to VP CX, another VP was shifted from one region to SP as VP CX; the field sales and individual SEs are fried but none of the top management have paid the price - Alarm bells should rung through Cisco

Its always the same here… the leader cuts should happen but they never do… because these leaders are tasked to fire the lowly folks… its incredibly short sighted by Cisco…. As all can see this last cut wasnt to help it grow it was just SLT lashing out to make next qtrs numbers look better but it will all backfire as there is no plan…. When they are talking they dont inspire or transpire any confidence at all…. The same same characters are still around on Senior directors and above positions who are slow moving and cant talk to each other keeping friends employed at the cost to the whole company…. I for one will have my Jerry Maguire moment soon with my leadership as I wont be a passer by watching them destroy the legacy the people before us built… at least if I go I will have done my bit and will sleep well knowing i tried….

Cisco has made a mistake by firing good technical people. Cisco thought it could do similar to Meta or Google, but that’s a mistake. Meta or Google are doing strategy wise almost correct while Cisco is not there even half way. Many good technical folks who are not LRd will now start exploring other options unless all this mouthpots are shown the door
