stay focused they tell us while keeping this distraction around for nearly three years, so who’s really distracted
They have tried to merge for 4 years now. They lost credibility
sweeten offering SK access to excess capacity to produce NAND SK potentially sacrifices their market position if this merger closes, and does that serve SK shareholders
Two turkeys won't make an eagle, just saying
Huge longshot with ex-cisco ELT and cronies that are 100% sure they've been winning, while losing revinue, profit, headcount, equity, and stock value.
The company is trying to walk back on the overleveraged buyout with an UNO U turn card, just like the country wants to return to Goldilocks 90s when China is still a nobody. Unfortunately life rarely has a 2nd chance. I will only believe split/merger when it happens. split + listing need both business to be profitable when stand alone. Merger is about paying off SKHynix. Both seem like a long shot to me. Not forgetting the market can sell off anytime, for whatever reason, throwing whatever plan we have off again.
Well the mark of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results... They just need to get with the program and pay off the right politicians & decision makers (like everyone else) to shove the merger through.
Or keep promoting how diverse your workforce is on social media... seems to be working.
WD ELT should try to do more than rewarding themselves. No merger. No HAMR. Stocks down. Revinue down. Profits down. Headcount down. Property being sold off. No change of plan. No change of results.
SK Hynix doesn’t have to play until it is of full benefit to them, while Bain must ready to exit the whole deal and reinvest elsewhere Merge, no merge, or split, get the job done and let’s move on
Bain is trying hard.
