1 week pay per year of service

1 week of pay for each $300 of weekly base pay

1 percent of annual base salary for each year over the age of 39

It is based on age, years with company, and salary. Roughly comes out anywhere from 1.2 (younger people) to 1.8 (older people) weeks per year. The formula entices older people to leave. Legally, they can pay nothing! Note, they will get rid of people before April 1st because bonuses are paid to those employed on that date. Additionally, if they get rid of you before the end of March they don't have to give you the annual increase. FACTS from the HR PLAYBOOK.

Hey Ynot, would you consider donating a single year of your prodigious salary towards additional severance for those hard working employees loosing their jobs under your reign?
Of course, Y not…actually, it was never even a consideration, right?
Let’s see, your total annual compensation was about $12 million over the past 5 yrs…hmmmm…I’ll bet the total annual compensation of those hard working employees loosing their jobs is less than yours. Just sad corporate greed and injustice!
