I am the one surprised G2 lasted that long. I thought it was only me, because I have been kind of biased, as I haven't liked the guy since his first email to all the employees. I have never understood what has Chuck found in him and why he was so obsessed with G2.
Now, if these rumors are true, my only fear is who will step in his shoes ? I'm afraid that some new guy will start thinking re-org, bringing in people from their old company, lay-off even more people and ruin business even more. I hope they'll have someone from Cisco this time, someone who knows the business and who we had a chance to see in action.
I wouldn't mind to see LH take over. She seems to be a hard working, no BS person. Not that I know enough about her, so I may be off the mark here.

In any other large public tech company, that kind of numbers won't keep any executive more than 2 years. Board will demand a change regardless what CEO is trying to pull.
People already surprised that J2etu lasted that long. Maybe special inside none of us will know.
SBG use to have 1 SVP and 1 VP level, now there are 5 levels of SVP/VP each with their own support staff of up to 50 people .... So we need to get rid of 100s of engineers so that budgets still work.
