@30g9 are you arguing with a post from 10 months ago?
@1kxh yeah so what, i can stand in my head for 11 days and enjoy 4 days not in call, they have to give 23 hr break after 4th start. There's only so much they can do to you in the 11 days. Don't be a bi--h.
The only way you are getting an 11 and 4 is everyone has to be available for 11 and then everyone needs to layoff 4. Make them feel the pain. If the crews would actually stand together then a lot of the nonsense would stop.
The carrier IS slow rolling the talks and thats not a bad thing for SMART membership. Reason being is that since the BLET jumped right in we're going to be able to see both the positives and the negatives of their agreement language implemented in real time and thus be in a much better position to argue for favorable language after seeing the pitfalls the BLET experiences...
Bottom line is, be patient.
Single men crews where?
Remote jobs on yard and locals like the South Sacramento and Florin and Rocklin Rocket?
Don’t look so quickly to the 11-4 schedule. They messed up by giving UP control of the boards so now they are running the engineers with bare minimum of people. They have been running short for example where trains would be prompted at 1700 and not be able to send the train till early morning the next day as no body is rested. They are being called right off rest and and most seem to say they are losing money. The days off are nice but there is downfalls. They are trying to find anyway possible to make it harder on people.
No worries, Roseville is getting shutdown

A$$$hole tarrds sold themselves out for
- 000 to get rid of the brake man and think they are going to get a 11 on 4 off schedule when the boards are depleted and they can't lay you off.
Remember, go 6 or 7 straight and sc--w them on HOS get those days off.
Make then stack trains in Roseville with no crews. LOL!!!
@jh1 spoken like a true manager 🤔
Fearfully it’ll be implemented when
management figures out what cuts other departments will suffer in order to pay for it. (its gotta be cost neutral) The conductors ought to be very gratefully to their unions for staving off the utility men and therefore single man crews. Engineering and mechanical employees actually have real work that desperately needs to be done but they get cut in order to pay for the two man crews.
