trim senior management by 50%. company will grow like 10x in next 2 years. the d-mbest people are ones who dont do any work but act like they know everything in world. talking to half these senior management ppl..they will tell you they are the brains behind tesla, meta and microsoft while working at cisco.

Firing them is easy. Finding top talent who can float and right the Titanic and actually take those jobs isn't.
Cisco needs more managers, Sr managers, directors, Sr directors, avp, vp, SVP, and EVPs.
You can’t expect a manager to manage more than 1-2 direct reports. Managers with spreadsheets are the life blood of Cisco.
i agree not all are bad but when there are 8 layers between the engineer and head of your BU...something is wrong .
Not all of them are bad. But we have a lot more than we really need.
