Want to get fired or laid off?

HR is sending out emails to people who don't come into the office 3x a week. I wonder if not following this will put you higher on the list.

I think folks are quitting quietly which is something to consider as well. Overall headcount in US has dropped drastically too

Parties, heck yes. We here in HR get a big blowout every time we reach our goal of “50 over 50 and 75k”. Layoff 50 folks over 50 years of age and salary over 75k. There have been so many shindigs, some of needed to start AA.

What holiday parties??! For those of us who are CE field engineers we are treated like not even part of the organization. Don’t let the LinkedIn posts of CE appreciation week fool you. Those are a couple areas highlighted to make it look nationwide. Fact is our rotating list of TM’s are hundreds of miles away from their staff and no possible way to bring people together. Haven’t had an in-person yearly review in over 15 yrs.

What makes it worse is knowing my job wasn't eliminated, It was me that was eliminated and my job still exist overseas. Layoffs and Rifs meant something different decades ago. I dont know what this is called.
Knowing that the previous Ceo is now on the president advisory board makes me wanna pu-e. I visited LinkedIn and the amount of a--licking is apparent from associates from US employees is funny. The xmas party pictures and events looked awesome tho but those picture were only from overseas. If they really wanna save money then the HQ should be moved also as well c suite overpaid people overseas. They would save alot of money since they could cut their pay by 2/3rds or more. Look at a cost of living comparison site. You could also look at pay comparison. I guess this is how they make money. Im sure N. Korea will be their next stop in the future

Company is a complete s—-t show, you should all not have to ask what to do, you should know both your situation and company’s plans. This question baffles me, everyone should know, the company is just flushing the toilet full of s—t
