Just like on glassdoor, and other job review sites, it looks like Granite has sent out one of their image shills to put a spin on the layoffs.

"The roles affected were generally non-essential or non-performing.'

This came from a Granite manager. Some Granite shill managers are hand picked to write positive statements on social media as part of their job requirements to offset negative posts.

The company is dishonest with their employees, and their customers. They over charge their customers, and often do not understand the services they are selling, and isn't very good at maintaining who should be looking at information that requires security clearance. Some people refuse to get clearance, but they are given access to everything without question, or concern, and very little oversight is given on the safekeeping and retention of the information provided.

Yes, they layoff 100 ppl, from each department. CEO became greedy and destroyed 100 families. Really bad place to work at. They sc--w customers and employees as well. They pay like in 2000’s.

Hi All, word has it, 100 roles were affected, not 500 as claimed above. The roles affected were generally non-essential or non-performing.

Years wasted.
Hours wasted while on vacation joining meetings and customer calls for the company.
Hours wasted working overnight fixing issues to meet customer deadlines for the company.
Hours wasted working weekends
Hours wasted looking for ways to save the billion dollar company money and implementing them.
Hours wasted going over and beyond to help out teammates and customers for the company.
Anything and everything that was I asked of me, I put my head down, and did it when no one else would. In the end, I guess the joke was on me. I'm not mad, I'm not bitter, but I am very disappointed.

They claim to be “family” and after years wasted as loyal employees, give you the axe with no notice whatsoever. Absolutely horrible practices.
