Northwestern mutual Severance for layoff

What has their severance package looked like in the past when they laid people off?

Cobra is covered for same # of weeks as severance. E.g. 18 years of service nets 13+36=49 weeks of Cobra, not just 6 months. It maxes out at 1 year.

Do you get to keep your cash balance account if you are under 3 years?

Not a bad package also includes two years retirement bridging along with the other things already mentioned.
Good thing since the next quota that was planned before thanksgiving is being given their two weeks notice this week

Also you get a prorated AIP benefit and COBRA covered for 6 months.

I think it's 13 weeks + 2 weeks per year served all paid out in a single lump sum.
