We have been up 14% in 2024 in stick value. What’s the good news?
Cordono made some bad buisness decision, but no worse than DG. He did gift himself $70,000,000. He didnt consistantly loose stock value, revinue, profit, headcount, and sell off real estate like DG has. He did cut 401k on everyone but his inner circle. And he didn't pay six figures salaries to people to police social media. He let his actions speak for themselves.
He wasn't a great leader, but much better than DG in nearly every way.

The only unprofitable business in recent years at WD was Flash. Consistently out-spent their revenue/margin. Everything in HDD BU has been profitable. This is one of the theses behind the separation. Make the businesses stand on their own and see what happens.
DG destroyed this company. Cordano was much better.
