I am the only one in my Team going into the office to join calls on Teams. Anyone in Similar Situation what are your thoughts about RTO and future? I'm a full-stack developer.

In Teams calls too, same as WFH. I have a few people in my team near me but still get on calls anyways. Honestly the talking around the cubes have caused me to get less done.
But if you look on LinkedIn, RTO is going great and everyone LOVES it.
We all spend 8-16 hours per day in traffic and getting ready for work while we all join the same remote calls we did at home
Everyone on my team is in different locations and in different states and this makes zero sense. I'm looking for another job this place is unbearable and just about impossible to get any work done
I'm in STS Lone Tree and my whole team is in TX. This makes zero sense especially since I have been fully remote since 2016. I know no one here. Also I have to come in around 630 to get parking so I'm working more hours now since I can't flex time with my afternoon/ night work
I wasn't particularly upset about RTO. In a perfect world I could continue being fully remote but I was willing to go in and make the best of it. These first two weeks have been he-l. I haven't talked to a single person who wants to be there. Nobody is even faking that they are the slightest bit happy other than perhaps the bubbly corporate communications employees trying to stir up excitement on Teams. Plus that one guy who never stopped coming into the office and is bathing in everyone's misery. Its only been 2 weeks so I'm hopeful this gets better but I cannot see that path yet.
Of course you're not alone. Everyone around me comes in and sits on calls or has headphones on. There's no culture or in person collaboration, just toxic gossip about layoffs and RTO.
