Cisco is the best place to work in the US and the UK apparently, according to Glassdoor. Can't wait for our UK SE director to go on LinkedIn and do the customery whoopee round. Manage upwards and brown nose at every possible opportunities while pushing away dedicated loyal employees - all for Glassdoor glory!

Why do you people work at Cisco?
A planned and paid ranking doesn't mean anything.
The fact is that it's the worst place to work.
No idea why people are so upset. If they LR you go get anther position on higher wage elsewhere. It’s just a job at the end of the day folks, not your legs being cut off.
I take the point about all the BS about best place to work. What a bunch of cr-p.
we have our jobs and salary for NOW, is correct...Until February 14, 2024
Maybe Google laid off hundreds, as did a few Amazon, but just look at job boards.... Thousands of jobs at better pay if you know your stuff. Those people will land in better situations and people who sigh and say "be grateful for my job" may not be competitive for those plentiful good jobs out there.
Indeed, no matter how much we have contributed and how little we are rewarded, we should always be grateful that we still have jobs at CSCO🤪
Well Google laid off hundreds of employees overnight. I guess we should all be grateful we have our jobs and salary for now.
