Awards are to be taken seriously. The optics to the public and employees is positive, and awards given to one’s own company; even when given because someone called in a favor - are 100% a good thing. Hello! Stock ⬆️ employee morale ⬆️ executive /leadership ego ⬆️. I don’t see why anyone should be complaining. 😂
They make “donations” to win such awards. They pay for them. Honestly the organizations and personnel who give out these awards should be scrutinized and investigated a bit more.
Especially Fab9. All the good stuff is on local TV channel 3 WCAX. But no mentions of the December layoffs the last two years.
Never heard of such an award. Maybe GF made up this award and gave to themselves? Did HR at GF give themselves a ribbon as well? Our reputation in industry is so bad let's have HR/talent acquisition give themselves an award to make us not look so bad, what a joke!
I wonder how much bonus and awards do they give HR for getting the awards and how do they quantify the performance of HR for getting these awards
