Nothing good will come from our hip hop single but maybe that

Why doesn’t Harvard call Thasunda she is perfect for the job! Somebody please recruit her and the rest of her ‘leadership’ team. If you need to run your business into the ground and have the lowest employee morale and run expenses through the roof with BS highly comped roles and higher people that are no where qualified to have them, she is your CEO! It’s a we thing! Ridiculous.
As a former employee and current participant, I am saddened to see what TIAA has become under T's leadership. Where is the Board??? It seems clear that T is only looking to promote her personal brand/agenda and has lost sight of the markets TIAA serves. When T leaves, the only mark she will make on TIAA is the black mark from losing its vision and charter. I am sure Fidelity has written her a thank you note for the business and employees. I ask again, where is the Board?
I am a former MD but a current investor… for now.
I do not want these RIDICULOUS Marketing ploys absorbed by my investments. TIAA should be a serious, yet approachable, investment company not making a dress out of money or being a hip hop collaborator.
This woke nonsense needs to stop. How is TIAA this woke while being headquartered in a conservative city (Charlotte) ?
I saw this today and just shook my head. Honestly, every day I’m amazed (or maybe not) at the ridiculous things coming down from all senior leadership.
Thasunda is making $17MM this year
Employees are not getting raises
Things we spent money on:
a dress
a gala at Martha’s Vineyard
a rap song
Things we saved money on:
Layoffs
Strategically dismantling the company
Pi----g off all of our employees through a long-con filled with lies and gaslighting
Ideals we say that we hold:
Gender equality
LGBTQIA+ rights
Providing for working parents
Winning as one with our employees
Ideals we actually hold:
Investing multiple millions in states where women and LGBTQIA+ individuals don’t have rights. (Here’s looking at you Texas 🙄)
Taking away flexibility from the workforce because of “collaboration”
Taking away desks and tanking morale to force people to quit, saving money on not having to pay severance
Thasunda is absent.
Thasunda is self-absorbed.
Thasunda was a terrible decision.
Thasunda is ki-ling this company.
Thasunda needs to go.
T and the marketing group have been consistently off the mark. They sink huge sums of money into niche ideas and then they fail. Martha’s Vineyard, the dress, the collar with Wyclef. Ridiculous attempts at branding that are truly just building T’s brand for when she leaves TIAA… if there is anything left to leave.
Remember when this company actually used to stand for something? We’ve been off track since Vision 2020 honestly. And the best people to help us through this and try to save a modicum of our culture… well those folks have all been laid off.
Can’t decide which is d-mber this or the dress
Just knowing that we have spent Millions on this that could be invested in helping with pay gap and retirement issues. But we are just using TIAA black Amex like it has unlimited funds. Like we need to really take a step back go to market in a better way. I can’t wait for all our participants to see this and be like. WTF I don’t want my retirement savings being used for stupid promotions like this.
Let’s hope our clients don’t dig into the artists in this collab. Capella Grey’s socials and songs are full of vile language and twerking teenagers. What the actual heck.
I hope the board enjoys their diversity hire. This is the type of ploy that makes TIAA continue to be the laughing stock amongst asset managers...
aaaannnndddd.....it's premiering on Jimmy Fallon. How much $$$ did we pay for all of this? All to make T look relevant and cool in the national spot light.
Yo yo I’m finna get my paper right dog
Imma be stacking dat paper and retiring inequality
If only TIAA were that lucky...
