Axonics and BS

Any thoughts on Boston’s acquisition of Axonics. Help, hurt, or no impact to mdt?

I find the -3 downvote (as of this reply) to be interesting. The original post just asks a question and there are 3 down votes and no up votes....maybe an indicator of who reads this website.

Axonics has a couple great product. However the valuation of $3.4B for a company that is still unprofitable makes little sense when cash is no longer cheap. Yields are currently at 5% which means a steep ROI is needed to justify this acquisiton- not there yet.

Axonics cleaned our clock in SNS, and now got acquired by BSX. Toxic MDT management need to go!

Why care about other companies? We need to work hard ourselves and not blame others

someone is furiously assembling a powerpoint deck (small words, lots of pictures) to assure Geoff and Brett that MDT still has market leadership in the space, we're the best bla bla bla.

None of the Excom feel this business is strategic, or care about the products. It’s a way of defeating the cost/talking up the potential of technologies used in other businesses. So this probably just hastens an exit from this space.
