Can you imagine what it would be like working under the previous commenting "supervisor"? I read it like sarcasm because no true supervisor would be that full of themselves and their lot in life. Real-life supervisors know that those who they lead are their most important priority. They are responsible for how their staff performs and whether or not they stay. Turnover, or lack thereof, is an indication of the quality of leadership!

Maybe THEM SHOULDNT TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES SO BAD AND MAKE AWEFUL DECISIONS AT STORE LEVEL.(YOUR SALES PER SQUARE FOOT IN YOUR MARKET GRILLS ARE AWEFUL).

Ever notice: When it's "us vs. them," it's always them who are to blame?

The problem with Jeremy just like the supervisors all they see is the numbers and how quick can the stores make a buck. But they just like upper management in the stores forget that it's the actual employees that make it happen. All I hear as a dept head myself is how can we cut labor. Management would rather spend time staring at a computer screen rather than actually working. Maybe if supervisors and corporate actually had to work at a store would they see for themselves what it takes to actually run a store.

HyVee keeps driving the divide. It’s time for Jeremy Gosch to reunite the company. Let’s see if he even knows how to. I’m sure he will just post another video like randy and blame the stores for the divide.

The posts on this thread illustrate the us VS. them culture that has existed within Hy-Vee for the last decade or so. Store level employees VS. corporate employees. This type of destructive culture falls squarely on Randall Edeker who almost singlehandedly created it. The sooner he departs the better chance we could start creating a better culture.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with the stores. HyVee warehouse makes record profits every year. I’m not sure why the stores can’t make record profits. Maybe it’s the store employees ? Maybe it’s something else? All I know is cooperate and warehouse is carrying this company right now and our backs are ki-ling us.

A cut above the rest, wrong,I've seen many supervisors that were bad and demoted back to store directors or worse. You're NOT a cut above the rest. You can be replaced very easily. My days of moving up are over, four decades was enough,I'm in the retirement lane and yes I will stay in that lane. You keep working and paying my social security. THANK YOU MY FRIENDDDD.

Supervisors are a cut above the rest. Maybe you should just stay in your lane my friend. FYI if you have been an employees for decades at HyVee. Why haven’t you moved up? supervisors usually are one of the best employees. We earned ours spot. Why don’t you just go do another carry out.

Store employees are a so replaceable. We can hire just about anyone to fill store roles. Don’t have to be a genius to stock or to face the store. Supervisor on the other hand are much harder to replace. We have years of experience that can’t be replaced. We are the eyes and ears for the corporate office. We report back the good and bad to the office. With our input we help shape the future of HyVee. We all play a role at HyVee.

You do realize that the employees are key to stores having a sales increase and possibly bonusing. The supervisors have nothing to do with that. Who puts product on the shelf? Who faces the store? Who talks to the customers? It sure as he'll isn't corporate supervisors.

Supervisor don’t have time talk to the employees. Most store employees will be fired or quit within 5 years. Why waste time talking to someone that won’t be at HyVee long. Our goal is to make money not to care about how the store employee is doing.
