Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Anyone else stressed over workload?

Our team got cut in half and now we're taking on work from other teams to help with their projects. Talking to other people around the office, it seems like others are experiencing the same issues. I can't believe how obtuse senior leaders are. There's no way Schwab is going to be able to keep top talent is this climate when this many people are stressed

Do what you can at an expedient rate - document what you can do and don't worry about it - you can only do what you can do. As long as every group/person can do more they will keep pushing - they are greedy ba----ds at the top and really want to look great.

@1mmy+1qtDjMxB Sounds like that’s specific to YOUR leadership. Every single person I speak to at Schwab has been told to do less with more and take on additional work without complaints. Pushing back would absolutely result in my leadership scolding us for doing that. Lucky you that you can say no, I’m at capacity, I don’t know any other group allowed to do this.

This may be specific to your leadership, we have been asked push back if we don't have capacity. Prioritization is the name of the game.
