Don't do mass layoffs is old school. There is no human way to stop AI.
Generally speaking, We don’t do mass layoffs at the stores. We shuffle positions and titles and change structure so we can “adjust” to business need. Yes, some associates get impacted, but those are generally associates that are undesirable, anyway. Store closings are different, they usually offer another position at another store, and if you don’t take it, they consider you voluntarily resigned.
Depending on the store. Some store lead positions are going away. I have noticed this after the remodel.
