A belk store manager was fired yesterday after admitting to adjusting associate time cards by deducting or adding breaks when the associate didn’t take one. The manager would adjust on the Sunday or Monday before payday, so many associates didn’t catch they had been shorted between fifteen minutes and one hour of pay. The manager would then use the unused hours to collect a bonus at year end. Belk is saying the manager left due to an ‘urgent family matter’

This happened to me too. One of the managers was adding lunches we never took, but they never got in trouble as far as I know.
Anyone else noticed that managers get fired but everyone else gets arrested?
Nothing but love,

I still say mine committed fraud, this being a habitual thing with my RVP
Yeah my manager would change mine when I didn’t take a lunch. Yeah the morals of belks has gone down the toilet.
Not surprised. So many of belk management have no morals.
