So it is my last day today, I got a Glint Exit survey! Are you .... kidding me? this company and its culture is a joke, getting worse every day, sending an exit survey link to affected employees who lost their livelihood before the ugliest holiday season they have ever had.

@ 1qtj+1qqHqSG6 - Bro almost everyone here dedicates over one third of our entire lives to working. This “dude it’s just a job” line of thought is ridiculous, if anything your job is the most serious thing in your life at any given moment or you wouldn’t be spending that much time doing it. The fact is the vast majority of society does NOT have the convenience to pick a job at their leisure, and even if they are highly qualified they are not guaranteed a job at all let alone one which meets or exceeds their current standards of living. The entire reason why most of these companies including Schwab have awful culture is because labor has never been worth less in history, and it’s not going to be changing in the future. “Dude just get a new job bro don’t worry go to the job store bro,” what is this the 70’s? Everyone always brags anonymously about how indispensable they are, it’s the most transparently pathetic self-reassurance imaginable.
Well the good news is there are tons of bottom feeders like you who can do our jobs now! Enjoy.
If finding a new job is "suffering".... Grow up.
Plenty of severance. Plenty of notice. Stop being so entitled. Its JUST a job.
I find solace in all of this mess knowing that those who made the pre holiday calls that turned most “impacted” people’s lives inside out have to live with their decisions the rest of their lives.
I don’t care how much money they make or how it’s justified. I wouldn’t want to carry that with me. A lot if really great people and their family’s got hurt and are suffering due to their actions. That’s all on them.
Happy New Year!
I got it too. Biggest cop out exit survey ever. They didn’t have any company specific questions, only team specific ones. They don’t even want to know what people think of the company and there wasn’t even a free text field to input comments. Lol! It was a joke of a survey.
Standard exit survey, which by the way also go to anyone involuntarily terminated- for what its worth.
Took me two minutes to complete and was happy to share my opinions even though I doubt anything will change.
Gave my honest feedback. What’s the worst they can do? Fire me?
The survey will not effect your bonus. It is unlikely to impact your former manager.
That said, people have filled out at least 100,000 of these surveys. Nothing has changed for the better.
Fill it out if you wish to waste your time. Otherwise, let the ship continue on its course. You can decide how much of that course is the Minnow, Titanic, Titan or Arizona. My belief is that it is all four.
Nuke it! At least they can’t threaten to write you up if your “Leaders” don’t get their desired outcome from this “anonymous survey.” I’ve also had managers being used as “hostages.” “If I don’t get all fives I won’t get my bonus, I could lose my job, and then you might get a micro-manager or lose an opportunity for promotion.” Both things I’ve experienced at this clown show cesspool.
Note the survey is identifiable -- your name will be attached.
