As an outsider I was wondering if there is any update on Arvinds leaked video regarding DE&I hiring

It looks like somebody is playing games with the reactions, heh...this thread must have struck a nerve.
Why would anyone care what an outsider thinks?
Surely they've already hired a crisis management firm to deal with the fallout and blowback.
What fallout and blowback? Other than this forum, and a few right wing wackadoodle sites, it hasn't gotten any press.
Legal and illegal are just words in a lawless and corrupt society. In the United States, many people and organizations have abandoned both law and morality in favor of economic expediency. When money is your god, then all other priorities in life are rescinded.
DEI su-ks. But what are you going to do about it? As difficult as it is, the only real answer for you, and for all of us, is to refuse to participate in it. So AK wants IBM to be the place for Affirmative Action hires. Do you want to work for that company? Will you buy stuff from that company? If you're willing to work for and buy stuff from DEI companies, then legalities really don't matter, do they?
Everyone has a choice. But sometimes the choices are really difficult. Sometimes, the choices can be really lonely at times. Being principled ain't easy. But personally, I wouldn't want to live or work in a DEI environment. That's just too screwed up.
The update: DEI is not illegal and is even required to bid on Federal contracts. The story was never picked up by any mainstream news, not even Fox News, because they all know it's not illegal and therefore there's no story. Somewhere on Twitter/X people probably still care, try asking there.
Yeah, AK and his cabal are downplaying it as much as possible and urging everyone to not respond if questioned. "Don't look behind the curtain. Nothing to see here."
Surely they've already hired a crisis management firm to deal with the fallout and blowback. Can't wait though for AFL's lawsuit to get filed.
Memory holed. "Don't mention it, don't talk about it" is the official policy on these little gaffes.
