Is Oxy offering a VSP program in 2024 concurrent with the new acquisition? There are lots of people who passed it up last time ready for the program now. They deserve it because they stayed to help Oxy with the Anadarko takeover and transition.

The company is under no legal or moral obligation to offer a VSP to anyone ever again. No one earns it because of their length of service or deserves it because of their hard work. You get the wages you agreed to. That’s all you deserve.

Fair? If you turned it down that is on you. Plus, there were many that wanted to go, but were not allowed to participate. At least we all got paid for 4 years we have been working plus benefits. That in itself was good.

If you didn't take it, you missed the boat. Those packages aren't going to happen again.
