How hard is it to make the connection between employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction? Angry and dissatisfied employees lead to angry and dissatisfied customers, which leads to lost sales, which then leads to reduced profit. Results are directly related to employees who sell the products. It's not quantum physics!

It is not that hard to run a good retail company like Belk to the ground. It is really a simple concept to Belk CEOs and or Sycamore Partners leaderships. The concept is that happy workers are the productive worker? Top managers rather choose to make money at any cost and squeeze out all greedy profits as much as they can while keep losing all loyal and future customers and dedicated Belk associates. This is not required any quantum physics to figure out this thinking at Belk. You see it is like mind over matter thinking concept at Belk top managers. You don’t like to work and make Belk a happy working place. We don’t mind at all and you don’t matter to us!
Belk and Sycamore care only about money period! Associates are just a way for them to get it. Maybe this will finally be the year that belk puts us all out of our misery.
