Work Related Expense

Is it too late to get reimbursed for the desk I bought for work from home? I also had to get a pretty long Ethernet cable.

Don't you know? You have to finish an ergonomics assessment - charged to your cost center - before you can order better peripherals than the dogshit available by default at the office. cost savings baby!

There was a $250 reimbursement in 2020. You might want to check with your manager if that’s still a thing.

I purchased $3000 dollars of supplies to work more efficiently at home. Standing desk, triple monitors, ergonomic chair, hub, etc. I didn't ask for reimbursement because I was happy with Schwab allowing to WFH. I guess that was a waste of money. Hopefully the next company will appreciate it.

You should have expensed it back in April 2020 silly, when we received the ONLY WFH dollars...one time deal here at Schwab! You already pay for those, why would Schwab contribute in the form of a monthly stipend for their employees. We are in 2024 'Merica ya know. Schwab let you work from home for almost 4 years, what more do you want, some type of fair compensation towards your home/work expenses...you ungrateful "resource," you should just say thank you for still being here!
Why would any, let alone a Fortune 500 Company give their employees a monthly stipend, is that customary? GTFO........

How long have you had it? Did anyone say you could expense it when you bought it? If yes you should have expensed it when you bought it.
