AME Etch is the worst. I'm currently searching for a new job and have an interview lined up for next week. Wish me luck. I'm hoping to be able to give 2 weeks notice soon.

The Etch team leads sits around all day watching tiktok and youtube. There's no real leadership on the floor. It's a mess..
I used to manage a shift in AME Etch. I don't think it's really limited to Etch. Many departments were struggling with low morale & employee retention. It's a problem for GF in its entirety. I'd suggest changing employment. There are plenty of great companies and industry in the capital region. 👍
Lol. I have a roommate working at Etch, and I understand how frustrated he is. He mentioned that some colleagues are just waiting for opportunities to leave. His manager is weak and doesn't appreciate their efforts. There's no chance of promotion.

It is absolute disaster in most of AME departments. Each module is competing for worst place. No morale. No ethics. No motivation. Poor management top to bottom.

Why so many down votes, everyone knows AME the worst department to worse for since the beginning.
I used to work in that department. It was an absolute toxic environment particularly the management. They actually monitored out of fab time, by pulling badge swipe reports, meanwhile management and the team leads would hang out in the cubes and bullpen, watching tiktok and youtube videos. Heard people are still miserable and quitting. Glad to be out of that place. Life is better outside of global.
Agree. AME in general is full of Rotten managers and led by failed manager like HPK. Just wait and see how they will end ruing whole company as well as themselves. AME is currently example where bad politics takes precedence over merit .. always .. what else you need to sink the company?
