What are your thoughts about potential Consolidated Edison layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

They are reducing parttime workers' hours to 25 hrs per week. A month prior was also a reduction to 30 hrs. The usually cyclical job postings, are quiet this Fall-Spring. Talk of metrics stabilizing with reduced work hours. Could be nothing.
