Is this going to be an interesting year as it relates to Toronto Dominion Bank layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

no updates. Just shuffling the deck with the weak links that are the left. The worker bees are struggling across all the teams. The uncertainty, overwork and lack of direction from senior management is taking an alleged toll on people
any updates?
I would think that some of the recent high profile layoffs are actually a sign that they are trying to get their house in order, no?
Hold my drink. Reconsidering my offer to work at TD. After reviewing info about the bank which includes the FBI investigations, other regulatory body investigations, poor senior executive team that needs to all be removed including Bharat. If you are VP level or above , you need to replaced so that a competent leadership team is able to lead the bank into the next chapter. It's also been exposed how fake the diversity culture is at the bank. It's not an organic experience. You are forced to attend or take part in events you don't want to. Thank you message boards for making this investigation easy and my decision to decline the offer at this bank.... pffft
Lots of additional layoffs in the past 2 weeks and I think more will follow. Mostly senior managers and non-customer serving roles. The rumor mill has been really busy lately.
Look at the management in place? That shows they have little interest in the future. Hiring bag boys/girls from Publix would bring better results than the randos in management there.
TD is a dumpster fire. No clear plan for deliverables, people are running around throwing team members under the bus. Poor performers are staying. Others have found gainful employment elsewhere. There is a large group of TD employees flown to Miami all expenses paid . Enjoying some award on shareholders dime - all alleged. Have fun at the Fairmount
So QEP saw some layoff this week - SVP and managers
They are running around cutting a lot more people this week. The amount of execs that have left this year is astounding. This place is a joke and since barry took over as president 10 years ago things have never been the same. It's about the dollar - not anyone or anything else
Yep. Instead of fixing what's broken they worry about this cr-p.
Platforms and Technology just forced RTO 2 days a week. TD won’t need to lay anyone off because they are going to QUIT.
